About HellCodex

HellCodex is an independent publication about Diablo V. It exists because the years between an announcement and a release are exactly when information is worst: a claim made on stage gets repeated until it looks like a fact, and nobody records the moment it stopped being true.

Our answer is simple and applies to every page on this site:

• Confirmed information and rumour are never mixed.
• Every claim carries a primary source and the date it was last checked.
• Changes during development are documented instead of silently overwritten.
• Individual news items are folded into permanent topic pages.

Trust states

Every article, fact and FAQ answer carries one of five visible states: Confirmed, Developer statement, Analysis, Rumor or Outdated. The label is always written out, never conveyed by colour alone. See the editorial policy for what each one requires.
