The Diablo V teaser trailer

Blizzard's own teaser for Diablo V. It is the primary source behind a good deal of what this codex records - and behind rather less of what gets repeated about it.

Confirmed

Pressing play loads the player from youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives your IP address and can store information on your device. Details are in the privacy policy. The preview image is our own illustration, not a frame from the video.

How to read a teaser

A teaser is an announcement, not a specification. What it shows is confirmed to exist in some form; what it implies is not confirmed at all, and the gap between the two is where most of the rumours about this game come from. A shot of a location does not confirm it is playable. A glimpse of a mechanic does not confirm how it works.

So: everything Blizzard has actually stated is on confirmed features, kept apart from what developers have merely said out loud. What is circulating without a source is on rumors and open questions, always with its origin named. If you came here from a video about the trailer, that pair is the fastest way to tell the two apart.

Source

The trailer is published by Blizzard Entertainment on their own channel: watch it on YouTube. HellCodex is an independent fan publication and neither owns this video nor is affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment; it is embedded here as the primary source for the entries that cite it.
