Editorial policy
What each trust state requires, and what we will not publish.
The five states
| State | Requirement |

| Confirmed | Officially published by Blizzard. A primary source link is mandatory. |
| Developer statement | Said in a panel, interview or video. The occasion must be named. |
| Analysis | Our own interpretation. Never presented as a reveal. |
| Rumor | Unverified. The origin must be named or we do not publish it. |
| Outdated | Was correct, has been superseded. The page stays up with the correction. |
Corrections
When a page changes materially - a fact is corrected, or a claim moves from one state to another - the change is written into that page's own change log with a date. We do not delete history.
What we will not do
- Publish a rumour whose origin we cannot name.
- Present analysis in a way that could be mistaken for an announcement.
- Use official Diablo or Blizzard logos as if they were our own mark.
- Imitate Blizzard's design so closely that readers assume an official affiliation.
- Use screenshots beyond what a piece editorially requires, and never without attribution.
